- Chicken 614 Review added: 2018.07.09★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆The B&B was in a charming house, with a lovely garden. The bedrooms, a double and a family room, were spacious, with generous storage space, and separate but exclusive bathrooms next to them. It was a welcome touch having guest bathrobes. The setting is very picturesque, and the sense of tranquility, and the views, were great. The location is ideal for visiting nearby attractions, the various villages, and for the White Horse pub, which is recommendable. Plus the tariff was very reasonable. Breakfast was delicious. The owners had a shed we could use to store bikes securely overnight. They were welcoming. They were also very flexible in agreeing a very early breakfast time, in order for us to get away.
The only reasons for not giving 5 stars was that the double mattress was somewhat hard, and the pillows was very soft and not supportive, which affected our sleep slightly.
